Are you still renting dresses?
We are suspending our dress rental service until Fall 2019, but not to fret, new fabulous frocks will be part of our subscription service. Read more about the subscription service here.
What if I only need you for one occasion?
You can still use the service! Because you can start, pause or cancel your subscription at any time, you have total flexibility with when you need something. Need a dress for a special event in November? Simply start your subscription so that you receive your selection a few weeks before your event. You can choose which dresses you want to arrive and then you’d have them for the month, which allows you to not only have enough time to put together shoes and accessories, but gives you the opportunity to make a last minute choice if you can’t decide between your options. All of this for approximately the same price you would have paid for a 4-day rental for one dress.
Not sure which dresses to pick? Stylists will be on hand to help you and will be able to access your style profile to make a truly personalized pick! Your feedback on the dresses is added to our data and we continue to learn and improve as we work with you.
What happens after I join the wait-list?
Once a spot opens up, you will receive an email notification that you are confirmed for our new offering.
At that time, you will complete your RfR Style Profile, which will dictate what we buy.
From now through June we will collect and analyze all of the data from the 5,000 profiles.
In June/July, you will be given the opportunity to pay for your first-month’s subscription since we will be selecting items specifically for you and based on your profile. Of course, you will have the option to opt out at this time and any open seats will be offered to the other members on our wait list.
Over the final summer months we work with our vendors to acquire the inventory, based on your profiles.
Early fall we prepare to ship your first box.
From there, you can update your style profile, provide feedback on fit, and choose your items for the following month (or have a stylist chose for you).
You can pause or cancel your subscription at anytime and if you are not happy with your first-month’s subscription, we will refund 100% of your payment.
How much will the new service cost?
When a spot opens up, you’ll be notified and asked to complete your Style Profile. The monthly cost will depend on the average frequency, styles, designers and occasions that you, and the other 4,999 initial subscription members, have selected in this profile. After we've tallied the information provided in the profiles, we will go shopping. You will be emailed prior to this and given the opportunity to pay for your first-month’s subscription since we will be selecting items based on your profile. Of course, you will have the option to opt out at this time and any open seats will be offered to the members on our wait list. Not happy with your first month’s subscription? We will refund 100% of your payment. You'll be able to pause or cancel your subscription at anytime.
Why can’t I see what clothing will be available yet?
Although we’ve finished almost all the details for our new service, we want your feedback on the important stuff.
Our inaugural group will fill out a style profile outlining how they will be using the service, which will dictate the styles, designers, frequency and cost. After we have compiled all of the information, we will go shopping, based on the collective style profiles. This means a service curated just for its members!
Does joining the wait-list commit me to having a monthly subscription?
Not at all. Joining the wait-list ensures that you are next in line when a spot opens up to be part of our inaugural subscription offering. At that time, you will be asked to complete your RfR Style Profile. This profile will help us learn what you need in your closet every month; occasions you will use the subscription for the most and how often, the styles, designers and the colours you love to wear. Once that is complete, we will take a tally of all this information and go shopping! But, before we do, you will be notified to pay for your first-month’s subscription since we will be selecting items based on your profile. The monthly cost will depend on the average frequency, styles, designers and occasions that you, and the other members, have selected. When will you be opening the showroom again?
With our focus on building this amazing service for you, the Toronto showroom is no longer accessible.
Although we currently do not have plans to open a showroom, we will be serving our customers through pop-up shops once the new service has launched!
What sizes will you carry?
Our goal is to carry sizes 0 to 24, as we always have. However, since we are launching with an inaugural group of 5,000 members, the sizes we initially begin with will reflect the sizes this group has noted in their style profiles. As we roll out the service we will continue to expand not only our sizes, but categories that our members tell us they want, such as maternity wear or petite options.
Why are you only starting with 5,000 members?
With over 93,000 Rent frock Repeat members we want to make sure to offer the best service out the gate, so we are offering 5,000 subscriptions to begin. This will ensure that we learn and adapt to customer feedback quickly and create a service truly defined by our customers.
When do you plan on opening online again?
We are scheduled to launch by Fall 2019. If you have not received an invitation, be sure to sign up for the wait-list!
I have a dress bundle package/credit/gift certificate with Rent frock Repeat. How can I use them?
Your dress bundle package/credit/gift certificate can be used towards our new subscription service. Be sure to sign-up for the wait-list! Alternatively, your dress bundle package/credit/gift certificate may be able to be refunded. Email us at email@example.com and we’d be happy to investigate.
